Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to know anything about music to attend a concert?
No, definitely not! Our concerts are casual, fun and social and we don’t expect you to know anything before you get here. Our audience members typically don’t play instruments or understand classical music and that’s okay. We want you to come and enjoy yourself, not worry about a bunch of terminology.
How long are your concerts?
An hour to an hour and a half long with time to socialize before, during and after the concerts. No pressure to stay for the full event but we don’t ask that you come early or on time to make the most of your experience. If you do need to show up late, we get it and you’re not going to get any dirty looks from us. All are welcome!
What should I wear?
Anything! Flannel, hoodies or nice clothes are all allowed. Since we perform at wineries, breweries and urban places, our audiences wear what they would to a local bar.
How do I know when to clap?
No rules here! If you like something, clap, talk to your neighbor or shoutout after the song is over.
Should I sit during the concert?
You can or stand at our cocktail tables but also feel free to move around. Refilling drinks or going to the bathroom is okay anytime. We do however provide designated breaks to talk and move around so you’re not sitting the entire time.
What kind of music do you perform?
Short classical music songs with singers which last between 3-7 minutes each. We perform in lots of languages but we promise to explain the story behind the song so you’re not just listening without knowing what’s going on.
Is there food and drink?
Yes! For concerts in our Taste What you Hear series, small tastings are included in your ticket price. There will also be additional drinks and/or food available for purchase.
How do I get there? Is there parking?
We partner with local businesses and host concerts all around Seattle, click here for directions and info for our next concert.
Can I buy a ticket at the door?
Yes but most of our concerts sell out due to limited seating capacity. We encourage you to buy your non-refundable ticket in advance. Each ticket includes a plus one, invite whoever you want and wait until the last minute to decide.
What if I don’t drink?
We program music based on the food and beverages local businesses serve so all tickets sold on our website include alcohol or food tastings. If you wish to purchase a ticket which doesn’t include tastings, please email [email protected] and our staff will be happy to accommodate you.
